Fireside Chat: How to Incorporate Generative AI in Courses - Presented by CARE-AI and the Office of Teaching & Learning (OTL).

This virtual “fireside chat” provides an opportunity for informal sharing of how some instructors have been integrating generative artificial intelligence (genAI) into their teaching practices over the past year. Hosted by Gus Skorburg (Philosophy, CARE-AI), he’ll invite Marissa Dahari (Molecular and Cellular Biology), Matthew LaGrone (AI Literacy Lab and Liberal Studies at Guelph-Humber), and Tim Bartley (Integrative Biology) to walkthrough how they've incorporated genAI in their courses. Imagine it as a practical sampler to a variety of approaches to genAI in teaching. Together, we can map some potential routes to incorporate AI, and maybe it will inspire new routes you can take!
