About the Documentary Screening:

Join us in celebrating Black History Month with the premiere of award-winning filmmaker Shelley Jarrett’s latest documentary, What We Deserve – Restorative Justice and Reparation. This compelling film delves into over 400 years of the British monarchy’s involvement in the transatlantic slave trade and colonialism, offering a powerful exploration of historical injustices and the call for reparative action.
