Owen Wooding (he/him) is an Instructional Technology Specialist in the Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL). Owen draws on his wealth of experience and knowledge of institutionally supported educational technologies, applying a pedagogical lens to enhance teaching and learning experiences across various modalities. Owen provides educational technology workshops and webinars pertaining to engagement, collaboration, and assessment practices. He also offers one-on-one and small group consultations to explore educational technologies and find innovative solutions to pedagogical challenges. Additionally, Owen is an active participant in the procurement and introduction of institutionally licensed educational technologies and led the successful launch of Gradescope in 2022.

Before taking on the ITS role, Owen was a part of the CourseLink Support team. During his 5-years in that position, Owen came to be known as “the voice of CourseLink”, providing expert frontline support to students, staff, and instructors.
