Putting Name to Face: Dudley Brown
Dudley Brown was a teacher employed by the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB). After playing varsity football and realizing it would not be his career, he pivoted to education. Dudley became a science teacher and taught at schools within the WRDSB.
He holds a Master’s degree in Theological Studies, with a thesis on the influence of African-American pastors on the Civil Rights Movement in the United States. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Education. Over the last twenty years, Dudley has served as a school principal, focusing on supporting low-income communities. His doctoral research investigates the life and service of Reverend William A. White Jr.
