The Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) announces the launch of two institutional teaching and learning initiatives: the University Teaching Leadership Fellows and the University of Guelph Teaching and Learning Network.

The University Teaching Leadership Fellows initiative will recognize and celebrate teaching, support faculty and librarians as educational leaders, and promote innovative and effective teaching and learning practices that will improve student learning and success at the University of Guelph. A Call for Applications for the inaugural cohort of University Teaching Leadership Fellows will be shared in September 2022.

The Teaching and Learning Network coordinates the exchange of ideas and resources for evidence-based, innovative, and promising teaching and learning practices; coordinates communication and marketing of teaching and learning events and resources; collaborates on cross-college and institutional teaching and learning projects; and gathers information about faculty and instructor needs related to teaching and learning. The Network will be established over the Fall 2022 term.

These two initiatives will enhance teaching and learning on our campuses and promote teaching and learning innovations.
