Inclusive Design
Following inclusive principles when designing courses and programs helps to ensure that learning environments and teaching and learning activities are accessible to all learners. We offer the following resources to guide instructors interested in creating courses and programs that value diversity and inclusion:
- Universal Instructional Design resources including a checklist, faculty workbook, and implementation guide
- Instructional Inclusivity Community of Practice – a monthly group that meets to discuss best practice recommendations about inclusive teaching and course design
- EDI in the classroom: Incorporating anti-oppression and anti-racism practices in the classroom. Facilitated by Dr. Jade Ferguson
