Join us for the 2025 Teaching and Learning Innovations Conference

May 14 - 15, 2024


Registration for the 36th Teaching and Learning Innovations Conference is now open!

Please join us for two engaging days of speakers, interactive sessions, concurrent presentations, and posters.   

The theme of the 36th Teaching and Learning Innovations Conference is Cultivating Spaces of Possibility. We will come together to explore this theme as it weaves through the learning experiences of students, faculty, and staff.    

On Wednesday, May 14th, we will connect at the University Centre for in-person interactive workshops, presentations, and posters. On Thursday, May 15, 2025, join us virtually on Zoom for our keynote address from Dr. Jessie Moore, Director of the Center for Engaged Learning & Professor of Professional Writing and Rhetoric at Elon University, along with interactive sessions and presentations delivered synchronously.

Registration fee: $65 including fees  

Single-day registration not available.  

Payment by credit card. Please see the Registration Notes below before registering.

Registration closes Monday, May 5, 2025. 

Zoom links for access to the online keynote and sessions on May 15th will be provided to registrants shortly before the start of the conference.

Presenters: Please note that all Conference presenters must register for the Conference and pay for the registration fee. 

Cancellation policy: No ticket cancellations will be accepted. Refunds not available.

Registration Notes for University of Guelph Faculty, Instructors, Staff, and Students

Registration Codes:

If you have received an e-mail informing you that your College or unit is covering registration fees for the TLI Conference, you can reach out to the contact noted in that e-mail to obtain a tracked registration code. 

  • If you have a registration code, please enter this code in the “Registration Code” field when you register.
  • Do not share your code. 
  • If you did not receive a registration code, you will need to pay full registration fees. 

If you do not have a code and are unsure if your College or unit is covering the registration fee, you may e-mail OTL at otl@uoguelph.ca to find out. 

All UofG Student Presenters and Attendees:

Please discuss with your supervisor or College administrator before registering to see if your College will be covering registration costs and have a registration code. Please use your registration code when you register. If not, you will need to pay full registration fees.

UofG Graduate Student Presenters and Authors:

Please check your e-mail for information on registration cost coverage through the Graduate Student Association (GSA).  

UofG Graduate Student Attendees:

If you are a graduate student who is not presenting, but who wishes to attend, please e-mail otl@uoguelph.ca to be put on a registration code waitlist.  If we have GSA registration codes still available later in March, we will share these codes with graduate students on a first come, first served basis.

UofG Undergraduate Student Presenters and Authors: 

If you are an undergraduate student who is presenting at the TLI Conference, check with your College to see if they will be covering registration fees.


Accessibility:   

We strive to make the conference fully accessible, including accessible in-person presentations and workshops, and virtual activities. To ensure that we do our best to meet your needs, please indicate on your registration any accessibility needs and any accommodations that would benefit you.


Physical Access:

The University Centre facility is accessible via elevators or stairs. Peter Clark Hall is in the Basement of the University Centre and the other rooms are on the Third and Fourth Floors. We have provided time between each session for movement between rooms and floors.


Photos and recordings:

Photos will be taken during this event for use by the Office of Teaching and Learning for future advertising and reporting of the event.
