The Teaching Dossier Writing Cafés are for you! These sessions aim to provide a space for grad students to come together and work on developing their teaching dossiers, including their teaching philosophy statements. Using breakout rooms there will be space to either work quietly or to discuss your ideas with your peers.
Join Educational Developers from the Office of Teaching and Learning for a Virtual Book Club discussing The Spark of Learning: Energizing the College Classroom with the Science of Emotion (Cavanagh, S., 2016). The Spark of Learning considers the emotional impact of teaching style and course design using a wide range of evidence from the study of education, psychology, and neuroscience, and provides practical examples of successful classroom activities from a variety of disciplines in secondary and higher education.
