Registration for the 35th Teaching and Learning Innovations Conference is now closed! See you May 8-9th, 2024
Please join us for two engaging days of speakers, interactive sessions, concurrent presentations, and posters.
The theme of the 35th Teaching and Learning Innovations Conference is Fostering Transformative Learning: Challenging Assumptions, Reflecting Critically, Learning Together, and Taking Action. We will come together to explore this theme as it weaves through the learning experiences of students, faculty, and staff.
On Wednesday, May 8th, we will connect in person at the University Centre for our keynote speaker (also streamed online), interactive sessions, presentations and posters. On Thursday, May 9th, a different set of interactive sessions, presentations and a panel will be delivered synchronously online on Zoom. Please see the schedule at-a-glance and conference program for details.
Registration fee: $65 including fees, payment by credit card (single-day registration not available) - see notes below.
Zoom links for access to the online sessions (May 8th hybrid keynote, May 9th sessions) will be provided to registrants shortly before the start of the conference.
Presenters: Please note that all Conference presenters must register for the Conference.
Cancellation policy: No ticket cancellations will be accepted. Refunds are not available.

Registration Notes:
UofG Graduate Students:
The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is funding registration costs for a limited number of UofG Graduate students. Please use your coupon code when you register. Do not share your code. If you did not apply for and receive a coupon code by March 15, 2024, you will need to pay full registration fees.
UofG Undergraduate Student Presenters and Authors:
Registration fees for UofG undergraduate students presenting at TLI or authors on accepted proposals may be covered through various channels. Please discuss with your supervisor before registering to see if your Department or College will be covering registration costs and have received a coupon code. Please use your coupon code when you register. Do not share your code. If they will not be, please reach out to the Office of Teaching and Learning at otl@uoguelph.ca for a coupon code. This option is only available to UofG undergraduate student presenters and authors.
Registration being covered internally by UofG Colleges or Departments:
Some UofG Departments or Colleges have made arrangements to pay the registration fees for members of their units and have provided a registration code. If you are unsure if your Department or College is covering the registration fee, please contact your College-level or departmental administrator and ask. If the administrator has not yet made arrangements to get a code, they can contact our office at otl@uoguelph.ca. This option is only available to registrants from UofG.
Accessibility:
We strive to make the conference fully accessible, including accessible in-person presentations, workshops, and virtual activities. To ensure this, please indicate any accessibility needs that you have when you register and any accommodations that would benefit you.
Physical Access:
The University Centre facility is accessible via elevators or stairs. Peter Clark Hall is in the basement and the other rooms are on the fourth floor. We have provided time between each session for movement between rooms and floors.
Photos and Recordings:
Photos will be taken during this event for use by the Office of Teaching and Learning for future advertising and acknowledgment of the event. The welcome, keynote and panel sessions will be recorded via Zoom.
